Actually skeet I did already look at it. I tried optimising it, but that barely saved anything because it already is optimised. Cropping the image makes Picard look restricted. And besides, I don't think it's that bad; you're the only person I know of that has actually complained. Personally, I am a fan of jambalaya. I actually got the idea from DS9 when I watched it for the first time many many years ago. I'm sorry about that Picard, but Skeeter is rather militant about stuff like this - and in fact, your signature was breaking the rules. Quote: - Signature images must be no more than 500 pixels wide x 270 pixels tall AND have no more than a 100kb filesize. If your image is bigger than this, try to reduce the quality, optimise the animation, or resize the image(s). Ask an admin if you require help with this.
~ - The modification of another members' signature is not permitted without that member's consent. The admin however reserve the power to make changes to signatures that break the rules without the consent of the user.
Skeeter was actually pushing for a ban on animated images in signatures, but because of people like you, I fought against that. I personally don't have a problem with your signature, but any images that are truly annoying or we receive complaints about will be removed at our discretion. I'm sorry for not being aware of the rules  I have also been talking to skeeter and he also explained the problem. To do my part in helping streamline the forum, I have further reduced the size of my signature image to 106x123px and a size of 99kB (just below the 100kB threshold). _________________"Never give up. Thank you for understanding Picard. And that has helped loads, but just for you, if you want the slightly larger size back you can use it but not the 200k size one.
