You are obviously referring to my
post here. If I remember correctly, I described your post as "Very laconic post but very interesting nonetheless." I obviously meant this in a positive manner and not as a description of bad forum protocol.
Specifically, the Spartans, from whom the term
laconic originates, were always admired in Ancient Greece (besides kicking ass in battles of course) for their ability to convey ideas in few words, ie being laconic. If you have time, have a look at the examples in the wikipedia for
laconic, some of them are hilarious. Anyway, I am sorry if I was misunderstood
Returning to the topic at hand, I am wondering if it would be possible to just take samples of Mrs Barrett-Roddenberry's voice from old Trek episodes and use that instead.
