Thanks for reaching out to them.
Doing the Fed Intro will be like doing one of those old music videos. First the band recorded the song and then they went into the studio to make the video.
Here is a suggestion for the Romulans:
Romulans are the rightful rulers of the galaxy.
As Praetor uphold these principles that guide The Romulan Star Empire and never fail.
Keep the Empire's assets hidden. Divide your enemies and take advantage when they are weak.
Never reveal your true intentions. Trust no one and you will not be conquered.

What about this for the Dominion:
Vorta speaking to Founder (the player):
We, the Vorta, live to serve you Founder. You will bring order to the galaxy
Provide resources and technology and your Jem'Hadar will defeat the barbarian solids .
Make peace or make war. Make alliances or break them. We serve your will.
Obedience brings victory and victory is life!

Only the Jem H Dar say Obedience brings victory and victory is life!. I still duno about vorta id like to see the founders say it. Pretend you are a founder and say your sick of solids and the crap the universe is in. You want to bring order to chaos. Go...

lol well you guys decide on what lines you want When you do I'll record I finished the Cardassians, from the youtube clips and what I remeber of the good old days (loved Captain Picard, one of my favs ) they where arrogant but basically spoke like humans with a slow learned voice.... so I did three attempts: attempt 1 basically a normal voice with a bit of arrogance, I really like how line 4 turned out. attempt 2 tried to sounded like an older seasoned "general" attempt 3 bit of a "hissy" arrogant aristocrat. let me know which one you like if any for cardassians, I wish to know before I start my in game recordings for the race. also on a side note I'll be keeping only the most recent of the sound files on my media fire, so the old links will not work as they get updated... this is the final sound edited version of the Klingon Cardassians intro http://www.mediafire.com/?bi4axdin9psnveqKlingon intro http://www.mediafire.com/?m1a62gxr2uas9ot

I like attempt two. These are not the final lines, but the overall feeling is ok. The third one reminds me of the Emperor from Star Wars, it's very cool.
Can you say: And now young Skywalker, you will die...
hehehehehehehehe
Excellent work.

The voices are all good but number one is the most Cardassian. The other are, as you say, more Star Wars and the like.

So more like this---
Founder Speaks:
We, the Founders, will bring order to the chaotic galaxy
We will be masters of the barbarian solids.
Vorta Speaks:
Make alliances or break them.
We, the Vorta, serve your will Founder.
Jem'Hedar Speaks:
Make peace or make war. We, the Jem'Hadar, serve your will Founder.
Obedience brings victory and victory is life!

Voice:
The Dominion was founded with one purpose in mind. Bring order to a chaotic galaxy. To realise this dream we created the Vorta to administrate our order and created the Jem H Dar to keep the order. We do not trust the solids this is why we are here.
I think this is pretty much decent enough to use.
Sry been picky its just i really cant see the wording you use ken working. I think its because your trying to incorporate all 3 members of the dominion into a mixed message which i dont think works. Keep it simple keep it direct and keep it race non specific.

That sound OK to me. Only one thing seams a bit odd though. The Founders are saying they are because they do not trust solids?
So like this maybe -
Founder voice:
The Dominion was founded with one purpose in mind. Bring order to a chaotic galaxy. To realize this dream we created the Vorta to administrate our order and the Jem'Hadar to keep our order. Do not trust the solids. Master them.
Looking at Star Trek shields I see that they react where hit as well as lighting up all over. Here is another test WIP

two things, did the Romulans, Kenneth suggested a Nero inspired one, so I did two one more logical sounded attempt 1 and one more emotional and sinister attempt 2. also suggestion on the shield, I dont' work with this kind of soft wear but is it possible to make the shield flicker? it seems when the ships are hit, you see nothing but as soon as it touches the shiled it lights up one end, and then disapears and flickers briefly revealing the sheild around the entire ship... not sure if you can do this or not....also is it possible to give it more of a soap bubble look rather then a damasics metal kinda look? your call but just wanted to give some input once again note I have range, the more direction you give me the closer I can get to what you are looking for. http://www.mediafire.com/?2mkqipp8ey1qngy

I guess Odo was the male voice for a Founder. Can someone link Blaze to a YouTube for Odo?
Yes, I can animate many features of the shields so they will look organic. It is a struggle getting the software to come close to that used by CBS Paramount. There are some online tutorials that deal with Star Trek Shields for blender but these look really bad. I have had to experiment beyond that. It takes time.
Again I like both voices. It is often my inclination to go with the more understated. Klingon shout but a good actor will grab the essence even in simple conversation. Romulans are the emotional and cunning counterpoint to Vulcans so I might go with the second voice despite my bias for the first. What do you like?

The Season 1 DVD Extra Video for Odo might help you, Blaze. It's more about Odo's mysterious background though, and at the point where it was filmed, the Dominion hadn't yet been invented. If you're looking for inspiration on Odo, a good scene on Youtube is This One With Worf. There's also This One With Garak.

What do you like? awesome, just a suggestion I don't know what your programs are capable of still it's looking awesome. you mention the Klingon tend to shout but a good actor will still grab the essence even in a simple conversation did I pull this off? and yes I understand the Romulans are simular to the Vulcans. I'm just going with what inspires me. I also like to make each of the voice intros sound as if I'm someone else. either way let me know what you want me to try with my voice and I'll do it. Happytrek made some suggestions on my recordings like wise if anyone has input let me know and I'll see what I can do. I am really enjoying working on this project.

confusion, isn't this the old lines? with me saying qah-pla, instead of ka-plaugh? and raise our flag, instead of we raise our banner? or is that one being worked on once you send the info to the next guy to work on?

Kenneth said it's an HD version of the mockup. He probably meant that it's the original mockup, but not shrunk down and optimised like it is on Youtube. Youtube shrinks everything down so the video loads faster for viewers, but that reduces the quality and visible level of detail. Since this version hasn't been near Youtube, it hasn't been shrunk down so you can see all of the original detail.

The HD Mock-up above is the original YouTube version you have seen and asked for. As a Mock-up it is now for Gino to use as timing on the new music and new vocal audio track with the new words. Later the sound effect, (weapons, shields...) will be added as a new set of audio tracks once I have the video special effects in place to time them. I am deferring issues regarding the vocal recording to Gino, Happytrek. Any redoes, any techniques of recording, any cleanup on the Klingon is up to Gino. Now that we have the text Gino is the recording boss man. As you can see from his suggestions in those PM messages he knows what he is doing. I need to use my available time to work on the video.

I will do my best, based on my experience, to adjust the voice and the music with the video so that it sound as perfect as it needs to be. Nonetheless, I still need your comments on what I will be doing. What wouldn't I do for my friends? Happytrek

Here on YouTube is a very quick look at a Flag test. This sort of thing will replace the Title sequence in the Klingon Intro. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pXEgwz5lSANow I can work on the fire.

Looks very nice and i love the movement on it but imo it needs a weave texture on or somit i think as looks plastic atm. Or something to that effect. And maybe zoom out a bit to show the pole a bit and some background around the banner? Actually have you thought about the banners they use in the show like. http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9 ... Chz_1w&t=1and some more at http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/gallery/emblems2.htm?

Well it's just a test. The flag will be overlayed over a space background and will be mixed with fire animation. I can do the background if you want Kenneth.

Also Kenneth, if you want I can make more realistic texture so it doesn't look so plastic like Skeeter said. Also I imagined it more like in this form.
It's unlikely the Klingons would use the same format of flags we do.
