In short, it's an alien invasion sci-fi drama series by Robert Rodat and Steven Spielberg. It airs on Sunday, June 19, 2011, with a two-hour premiere.

Falling skies aired last Sunday. I have just watched the pilot (two 40 min episodes) and I can say that it was really good.

Haven't seen any of it yet. Are they doing an obvious analogy to coalition fcs invading Iq and Afg? The trailer "History is full of examples of so much resistance that the invading army gives up and leaves."

It's not that my friend, I wish our enemies gave up and left, I was just saying that in history there are many examples of that and me being a student of history in my free time am familiar with many cases.

I watched the latest episode yesterday. Same old crap: they wasted 5 minutes saying how the baked bread tasted like the one made by their mamas, then they wasted another 5 minutes showing them pray. That scene reminded me of that puritan crap "Seventh Heaven" (that starred two Trek alumni though).

Just watched the season finale and it was definitely worthy of the Spielberg name
