When I modded the game to play as a few minor races, (Breen, andorians, acamar, ferengi) I was playing as the ferengi and whenever I built a ship the sensor LOS would come up (As in I could see more squares around my home system) but the ship icon was not in the left hand bar like a normal ship so I could not select it and move it.

I was building a raider I and recources were still being spent on the ships that were being built.
