Been awhile since i have visited here (new site, looks nice!). I sometimes
visit the ST Supremacy site. I see here it is still mentioned as pre-Alpha
and if its still a living project I would really recommend somebody update
the site there mentioning that fact. Right now it really appears as an
abandoned site like many of the other BOTF2 sites. last update in 2009.
Maybe nothing much is being done at the moment (or is) but an update
on the site would let folks know its still alive.

That is a good suggestion. My hope is that once
Mike gets the basic functions like diplomacy and espionage in place
the new download will act more like a real alpha game. That should
attracted more interest and more workers to maintain sites and
complete the game.

The Supremacy site was made and maintained by a guy called JeanyNYGuard. We've lost contact with him, but I believe Mike actually owns the site, he just hasn't got the time to update it. There's not really anything to update on the site anyways since we haven't had any releases since May 2009. We do plan to do a release later this year though.

Understood but my suggestion was to keep the site active
for those folks (unlike me! LOL!) who don't check it often to
know the project is still alive. Right now it appears as a 2009
site and looks alot like other scifi sites long dead. Would hate
to see folks miss out on this game when completed. A quick
2011 update saying the game is still alive and still being worked
on will keep interest alive.

Don't worry about that, we've just started some discussions about a major forum revamp. We'll keep everyone in the loop once some decisions have been made.

I'm the same opinion like plasticpanzers - if there is a way to get access on the site this option should be taken. This dead site should at least show the way into this board where Supremacy is living in an agile way (update Latest News with "more you find at the board" or anything else)
I see Mike doesn't have the time - maybe somebody else could take care for "public relations" - many guys are doing it here in this board. (For BotE it's the same but atm I do it for SirP - he's still the chief and gave me access).
If Mike could do the same I think somebody here surely stand in for it.

Mike told me that he is working on a new site but wants to get another host service for it. He was thinking of making it more like a bulletin board / blog. I have been offering for a while to keep his old one up to date.
