It is aggressive, a little too much so for a game screen, would that work for a stealth mission combat ship encounter. I like it but I can't yet see a spot for it in a non-combat location; I reserve the right to change my mind though :)

I can see the player using stealth ships to ambush a target fleet and that music playing at the start of the encounter.

I guess you could make a more subtle version of it by lowering the volume and the tempo slightly and reducing the high points (they did that quite often in Star Trek TOS with the music), actually that might then work for a tech screen too.

Thanks Kenneth! The exotic flute sound is reminiscent of Cardassian world I think.

Thank you Kaladin!
Now that you mention it, I believe it has a certain James Bond-ish touch, kind of pursuit feel. Also ike in Goldfinger, the ski pursuit in the mountains.

Thanks guys!

Sorry Kaladin, I was writing my answer as you were writing yours so I hadn't read your latest post.

Yeah, you may be right also. It is kind of aggressive for a tech screen, more like combat, but I guess Cardassians are an aggressive, suspicious race, always pushing to attack others and maybe it transpires on the way they make Espionage.

I could also try to make another version, a little softer, with less high trumpets so that it would fit for one or the other.
With two different versions, Mike would have a choice as to where to fit it.

Thanks for your comments and advice my friend!

This is my slower version with lower and softer drums and trumpets. The solo part in the middle is now a violin, and the sounds have been lowered.
Still to be balanced, it is less aggressive but not soft enough, to my opinion. It gives ideas though...

Espionage or Attack Essay 2m10

Being much slower, it is longer in time though.

That sounds even better for an espionage background piece.

Lovely sound. I have images of a super spy in some Mediterranean city doing his / her espionage thingy.

Thank you Kenneth!
Being much slower, it changes the mood, but I wasn't convinced it would fit in a background scene.
Your comment sure helps!

Thank you Captain Bashir!
I have a hunch she must be Super pretty also!

Oh yeah, drop dead gorgeous. Although you'd think they would get too much attention - too noticed. Not good for spying.

You know what’s funny, that ski scene is my favorite in all of bond because it makes me laugh every time. Go watch that scene and when the guy with the pie gets hit you can see he throws the pie before he even gets hit, I paused and rewound that so many times cause its so dang funny.

Yup that new version now would work as a background music for the main screen even for a stealthy/assassin type feel on a race. The quick version would work for combat.

I don' t remember that scene, it was such a long time ago. I remember the outside hill scene. If I find it somewhere I'll borrow it just to see that.

Thanks Kaladin for your nice comment!

It could be because they are still working on future Bond's films...

Maybe, but it seems most of the movie/tv companies are pretty quick to remove content now.

Yeah! Looks like for them, nothing is free. :hmm:
Seriously, with the films and TV programs copied from internet, they're losing money.
Even so, some free content sometimes wouldn't hurt...

EDIT: Doh! I shouldn't have said that, Sorry. There are tons of demos and news about the subject. We just need to put the right request. One of my friends showed me that I was wrong. They were taken off because of the abuse some people make.
Anyway, I wanted to correct my bad say. There, it's done.
