Thank-you and Thank-you. It has to be worthy to circle one of Vjeko's planets.

Great ship Captain B. Some day we can redo the Klingon Intro using it.

When I am done with filming Space Command I want to take a look at the blender game engine. It might be a place to test out a ship like that in 3d combat.

This could make a superb video episode. Bashir could make us Dominion beetle ships for the Great battle. This time, we could change history and make the Klingons win the battle. Like a "what if..." Video. Another over proud race...I'm dreaming..

My try on the cluster...just without the lensflare stars... Also used similar method to light up the dark sides of the populated planets.

A really great effect. The cluster looks like a N.A.S.A official Hubble (or Spitzer) photo but with even better resolution. A fantastic job on the planets vjeko!

I believe you will have to give a name to those new clusters you create. Suggestions? The Vjeko Way? (Român lactee, Vjeko lactee, română grup, meu de cluster, dalb grup... VJ1701)

Hahaha, they all sound cool, but I'm gonna name this after my personal hero Nikola Šubić Zrinjski.
I name it Zrinjski's saber cluster.

Now that you make me see, it's true that it looks like a saber. Well thought name Professor vjeko.

I am working very hard to make the Klingon K'tinga class accurate to the movie model. The neck needs to be re-tapered and there are other things but I'm getting close.

That is outstanding work Captain. That is movie quality work. It would be too much for a combat engine to deal with but is just the ticket for video.

You're getting close! Not much and some texture and it's not possible to distinguish anymore.

Thank-you Gentlemen. Imagine someday when computers are fast enough, games that can handle high density images. This model currently has 101,415 polys and no doubt has a few more to come. I replaced the image above with a more accurate one. I have been correcting the size of the top shuttle bay section on the back of the main hull.

At the rate computer clock evolves these days, it might be much sooner than you'd expect! Linking Cores over Cores, overclocking with overclocking, chips on chips, and one day you'll have sixteen times the computer, tucked in a pack of gum...or smaller. Super job, by the way my friend!

Thanks Happytrek and kenneth and vjeko I re-posted a minor change with the neck taper fixed above.
On the image below, added dark armor plating at the base of the neck on the sides / bottom. More Greebles in the front of the hull wing. Neck is tapered correctly. The front teardrop portion (under the bridge) is smother and more accurate, toward the bottom back. I have been working on size accuracy for a while and am just now finished and starting to add detail again.

Right now adding hull plate detail. On the neck as well, although hard to see.

I can barely see it but it already looks highly professional and detailed to me . Nice work Capt'n B! I guess you need to add thickness to it also, isn't it?

The orthographic view makes it seam flat. It will pop out with final render. Are you around this weekend Captain? It would be nice to test out Supremacy combat with that port info Mike gave us.

Yes the plating is raised 200 mm. If you look closely, you can see it on the top picture, especially on the far side of the main hull.
Hey Ken, will try to get on this afternoon. Was busy yesterday.

Here is the lightwave3d youtube channel. If you go to the Browse Video tab after watching the eye candy there are some training videos. (Note the Iron Sky stuff Luke worked on.) http://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialLightWave3D/featured
