The new poster shows a starship (thankfully not the big E) on a collision course to Earth? WTF??? I know it's in the movie, but still I don't think it's a good idea. Maybe showing the Enterprise racing across the sky would be better. Also, showing Alice Eve and Zoe Saldana back to back and in high heels, would do the trick

Apparently I wasn't the only one who thought that the new poster needs improvement http://io9.com/iron-man-meets-the-doome ... -472723331Photo in the spoiler:

I wonder how much more analogy will now be drawn to the theme of terrorism in ST Into Darkness and our times in light of the Boston Marathon bombings? We will see.

Perhaps it's a perspective illusion, but is the dreadnought supposed to be x4 times bigger than the big E???

Lindelof: I don’t want to give away too much in terms of what surprises the movie has to offer. But I do think what’s cool about Trek is it’s not scifi fantasy. We view it as hardcore scifi. So you want there to be some sort of technological explanation behind everything. And one of the things that J.J. has been really interested in is to explain and show how the Enterprise works. We will be exploring sections of the ship, the Enterprise, that we’ve never seen before. And I think that will be really cool. Damon also talks about how they approached time travel in the last movie and about the four year delay and they also talk to Zachary Quinto about Spock’s relationships with Kirk and Uhura, watch it at io9. http://io9.com/damon-lindelof-star-trek-is-hard-science-fiction-not-483030807Chris Pine: “This film is about earthbound terror,” said Pine, speaking weeks before the real-life bombing at the Boston Marathon. “It’s about terrorism, about issues we as human beings in 2013 deal with every day, about the exploitation of fear to take advantage of a population, about physical violence and destruction but also psychological manipulation. John Harrison is a terrorist in the mold of those we’ve become accustomed to in this day and age.” Interview at LA Times http://herocomplex.latimes.com/movies/star-trek-into-darkness-pine-quinto-on-films-real-world-parallels/#/0

The first reviews are out and they seem to be mostly positive! http://trekmovie.com/2013/04/28/excerpt ... -darkness/However, there are a couple of negative reviews as well, but from some patahks who obviously have no sci-fi background whatsoever, so take them with a pinch of salt

Yeah, I'll hop on my private jet and go to Berlin just for the premier Seriously, I'm afraid I'll have to wait until it comes to Spain or Greece on July, so probably you'll watch it first...

Here is a peak at a JJ Klingon Think the actors for Spock and the bad guy should be reversed.
