It looks like the interface Daniels used or am I mistaken? Nice touch!

Or maybe it was the lousy theme song.
I'll strongly disagree here. I firmly believe that the theme song was just amazing.

Blalock is jaw-droppingly attractive,... but the brazenly gratuitous sexuality of that scene, in my opinion, is just embarrassing
WTF??? This scene was embarrassing but all the scenes with Kirk smooching with different hot babes in every-freaking-single episode, are OK?

...stopped watching it sometime during season three.
The Xindi arc was one of the strongest story arcs in sci-fi in the last 10 years and this guy didn't like it?

I now consider that final year to be one of the best of any Star Trek series, period. (Well, except for the space Nazis and the finale.)
At least we agree on this

Anyway, I just wish there had been more seasons. Perhaps the rumors about a possible deal with Netflix will bear fruit but with JJ's movies on the horizon, I wouldn't be optimistic.

My take on it is similar to yours. I did not see past the third episode of season one when it first came out. The writers really let me down. OMG when I found it again with the third and forth seasons.
