Well it's been a couple years since I gave up on the last BotF2 project. Decided to search around to see if anyone else was trying to make one. Looks like this one's coming along better than the previous one I followed.

Haven't read much about it yet, but I will. So, some questions first...

How long has this project been going on for? I see this in the FAQ: "We hope to have a working version out by christmas." I take it that was for this past Christmas. Was that achieved or is the alpha/beta coming out later? Is this project trying to keep the same structure/interface as the last game?

Loved the original game, even with it's problems/crashes. Played it many times. Hope this project works out great

Okeey we indeed planned to release a beta for this past christmas, but because the game wasn't ready because of some graphic files and such, Gturfrey thinks it's better to wait for a short while. Well this game will have many features that botf had. We will ofcourse add lots of option in it, but the thought behind the game is the same. To govern a race in the startrek universe. If you have any questions then please ask them.

I think it was called Universal Evolution or something like that. They came out with a few screenshots of a GUI and a couple 3D ships. Afterwards the group just disappeared.
